Botanical Castings

I work with plaster botanical castings to honour plants as teachers, messengers, and memory-keepers. Each impression preserves a moment in time—whether from a funeral bouquet, a wild harvest, or a wedding flower.

This piece combines found objects with pressed petals to create a three-dimensional ritual object: a key, a threshold, a bloom, a memory. Part altar, part artifact—crafted to hold grief, beauty, and story in equal measure.
